Compositions

 

Cypress has been studying composition for just over five years now and in this time she has created a wide range of different pieces, from medieval funeral marches, to twelve tone pieces, to solo flute études, and even a percussive dance piece at the minute. She always composes for a range of instruments.

 

Whilst she has experience in a number of styles, Cypress is perhaps most confident with writing modern art music as this is her main interest within music generally. However, Cypress would always be happy to compose a piece for any specification that is requested.

 

Cypress is also learning the skill of orchestration and arrangement currently, and has had some experience in the past (see Fairytale of New York video on 'Recordings' page). She would also be happy to take on any work of this nature along side composition!
